Homework Procedure
Homework supports students by complementing and reinforcing classroom learning to foster good study habits, as well as providing an opportunity for students to be responsible for their own learning. Parents play a vital role in the homework domain by working in partnership with the school as educators of their children.
Student Attendance Procedure
St Peter’s Primary School is required to keep accurate attendance records for all its students. This includes taking attendance. Attendance records are to ensure students maintain the 90% attendance rate legally required for education and funding purposes. Attendance must be recorded by teaching staff at least twice per day.
CEWA Statutory Privacy Policy
As with all decisions concerning children, the best interests of the student are a primary and overriding consideration in the management of information. A student’s right to safety prevails above all other considerations, including theirs and others’ right to privacy.
