Message from the Principal

Almighty and merciful God,
you break the power of evil and make all things new in your Son Jesus Christ, the King of the universe.
May all in heaven and earth acclaim your glory and never cease to praise you.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

CHRIST THE KING – The Church’s liturgical year concludes this Sunday with the celebration of the SOLEMNITY OF CHRIST THE KING. The feast of Christ the King is celebrated in honour of Jesus Christ as Lord over all creation. The Kingdom of God is the central teaching throughout the Gospels, and Jesus begins his public ministry by preaching about the Kingdom. This weekend marks the last week of the Church’s Liturgical Year and next week, we begin the season of Advent.

SCHOOL SONG – Today we launched our new school song at Assembly. It was great to see so many people come to celebrate this event. Thank you to Tim Count and
Marina Powell for producing the upbeat and catchy St Peter’s song, T.R.U.E.

COMMUNITY MEETING AGM – Our Annual General Meeting will be held this Tuesday 27 November at 7pm in the staffroom. Please come along to celebrate the highlights of 2018 and hear about proposed school initiatives for 2019.

God Bless
