Many of us have memories of using materials to make our own cubbies that took us on an adventure…

On the 14th of September, we had Becky from Nature Play Solutions facilitate a Loose Parts Cubby Incursion for all the Year One students. She filled our Quiet Area with a range of loose parts to stimulate our imagination. We practised many important life skills along the way such as persistence, perseverance, problem solving , risk assessment, resilience and a tangible sense of achievement. It also gave us ideas about what we would like to add to the Quiet Area to help support safe and enjoyable play during recess and lunch.

As you can see from the photos, our creative juices were overflowing.

What an awesome way to spend Friendship Friday!
